As per the Circular dated 30th June 2008 issued by the Deputy Director of Education, Government of Maharashtra following are the average marks of the top ten students of the various Examination Boards:

Method of Calculation of Percentile marks:

1. The average marks scored in percentage (A) by the top ten students of an Examination Board will be considered as 100 Percentile.
2. The marks scored in percentage (M) by a student of that Board will be converted into Percentile (P) as follows:
   

If, A = 100
Therefore, M = ? [i.e. Percentile (P)]
Therefore, P = M x 100/A
