Department of economics
Aim of this association is:

To organize students presentations on current issues
To organize add on course in Basic Economics, to improve mathematical and statistical ability of the students.
To arrange guest lectures by experts in various fields so as to create awareness amongst the students regarding current global economic changes.
To arrange parents meeting to improve associations between teachers and parents and to inform them about departmental activities.
To arrange the tours and industrial visits to improve students social, economic and environmental activities.
To organize felicitation of meritorious students.
To organize farewell of T.Y.B.A students by F.Y.B.A & S.Y.B.A students.

Awareness about the current global economic changes through guest lectures by:
Dr. C. Tilak - on 29th September 2009 on Global Crisis.
Dr. Charandas Deshpande- Executive Director, Maharashtra Economic Development Council, Mumbai on 5th February 2010 on "Maharashtra in India".
Dr. M. Datar-on 9th February on "World Financial Crisis and India".
Guiding lecture to TYBA students by Prof. Rajan Padwal, Department of Economics, M> D. College ,Parel, Mumbai on 13th February 2010.
Mr. Ranchit Gandhi- on 22nd February 2010 "Stress Management During Examination".
Educational Tour to Sikkim-Darjeeling during January, 2010.
Parents meeting of TYBA and SYBA students on 28th September 2009.
Presentations of students of TYBA and SYBA on every alternate Friday.
To inculcate the value of co-operation amongst the students, the students of FYBA and SYBA arranged felicitation of successful students on 25th September 2009. They also arranged a grand farewell for TYBA students on 25th February, 2010.
Development of personality of students' through presentations by students on various economic issues throughout the year.
